Commercial Broker/ Trainee Commercial Broker

A new opportunity has arisen within our Commercial Department; and we are looking for someone ambitious and hungry to join our expanding team. We will consider full time or part time applications.

We will consider an experience individual, or a trainee role with full on the job training; however, previous office experience in some form is preferred.

Job Duties

• Taking responsibility for a number of renewals each month.

• Obtaining up to date information from clients.

• The creation of risk presentations to Insurers and the negotiation of terms in line with client requirements.

• Servicing & assisting clients with mid-term adjustments, issuing documentation & setting up policies.

• The candidate will be responsible for their own diary management and should be able to work on their own, as well as within a team.

• Confident and presentable, making the right impression with clients in or out of the office;

• Ensure all instructions and requirements are handled promptly and accurately, and maintain communication and understanding through accurate reports and summaries. This includes making file notes.

Your Skills

• Ideally Cert CII or above but full on the job training will be given for the trainee position;

• Excellent interpersonal skills - both on the telephone and face to face;

• Able to work on your own initiative;

• Excellent presentation and communication skills;

• Good administration and organisation skills;

• Customer Service oriented;

• Proactive and positive;

• Flexible and able to work as part of a team.

Personal Lines Broker

We are seeking to expand our team and thus employ a new personal lines broker to join our existing team.  We will consider full time or part time applications.

This is an all round role, requiring the candidate to handle all personal lines enquiries (motor, household, marine, travel, equine) and they will be involved in all aspects from new business quoting and processing through to handling mid term adjustments and renewals. The role is mostly office based but the successful candidate may also be required to attend client meetings away from the office.

Client satisfaction is a key priority in this role, and we are looking for a strong relationship builder, whose technical abilities consistently aid the retention of clients to Network.

A full learning and development program will be provided including support towards CII qualifications.
